Life Coaching
The Life Coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client’s personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be. The life coach and the client enter into a synergistic relationship to tap into their full potential by providing added insight, objective perspective and enthusiastic support.
Business Coaching
Business coaches are typically experienced entrepreneurs and business owners themselves who use their talents in building and growing businesses to help other business owners reach their own goals. They work alongside executives and owners to help them define their goals, polish the vision for their business, and set in place a series of strategies that will help the owner achieve these goals. These goals often include reviving the business strategy, improving organization, identifying marketing needs, and boosting the overall performance of a business. If a business owner has tough questions or runs into problems along the way, their business coach will be able to help them navigate their issues in the most effective way possible.
Team Coaching
Team coaching is a well-blended synthesis of team facilitation, organizational consulting, organizational development, individual work, and team development work. The specific combination and approach used depends entirely on the formation of the team, what stage the team is at in its life-cycle, the organizational context in which it is nested, and the issues and challenges the team faces. It enables a team to function as more than a sum of its parts by clarifying what the team is there to do and by improving the relationships both within the team and between the team and its external environment. Achieving this goal requires integrating a finely balanced combination of individual coaching, work on interpersonal relationships, coaching the whole team on its purpose and behaviors, building successful stakeholder interfaces, and aligning the purpose of the team with the needs of the wider organization.
Career Coaching
Career coaching is championing and helping you reach your ultimate career goals, walking with you on that journey. Career coaches provide you with the help, support, and direction you need to achieve the goals you have in mind, reaching them sooner rather than later if you were to attempt doing it all on your own. The career coach will challenge you, inspire you to do your best, and will be there to support you each step of the way. The coach will provide you with feedback, support you when times get difficult, and will be an honest and up front sounding board.
Executive Coaching
Executive coaches are typically hired to help C-level, vice presidents and other executives with setting, following and achieving personal improvement goals. These can vary from increasing productivity, developing leadership skills, managing staff and improving communication. Executive coaching is about facilitating change in the executive’s personal behavior which will ultimately result in achieving their business goals. Clients are often already in leadership roles, with either formal or informal influence over other people, and seek guidance to help them make good decisions and grow professionally. Many clients seek out an executive coach to get professional feedback or for help with career advancement. Executive Coaching provides the missing link between the input of boards, advisory committees, executive committees, employers, peers, family and friends, and what the executive can gain from each unique perspective. Executive coaches are not quite business consultants, whom you’d hire to address a particular operational or technical problem. They are also not psychotherapists, whom you’d tap to work through emotional issues. Executive coaches generally focus on one thing: improving your performance as a leader.
